The VIDAMEX GROUP, is a group of 100% Mexican owned Companies, located in Villa de Garcia, Nuevo Leon,
only a 2 hour driving distance from Laredo, Texas, border with the United States of America.
In 1992, The company Vidamex, S.A. de C.V.is born. Founded by Ing. Vinod Kannan with de manufacturing of
sanitary tank fittings. In 1995 ing Ing. Eligio Lomas Durrzo was incorporated to the group as an active partner,
leading to the creation of a new company named Securimart, S.A. de C.V. in 1995, to complement the
manufacuring of other Sanitaryware products for inhouse and plastic injeccion as a maquila service for other
industries like Automotive, Home Appliance, and Plastic Toys.
At the start of 2009 Saniplast became a part of the group with a higher level quality inhouse products, and
Ceramex with the manufacturing of Ceramic One Piece Toilets. In 2010, Mr. Nelish Patel joined the Group with a
new line of products, like Induction Cookers and Led Lighting, giving birth to KANNAN & PATEL, forming what is
now known as THE VIDAMEX GROUP.
With more than 8,000 Sq. Meters of facilities built on an area of 70,000 sq. meters of Industrial Realestate, The
Vidamex Group provides more than 100 jobs for locals of Santa Catrina and Villa de Garcia and 24
Administrative and Management Positions.
